Irakli Nasidzé was born in Tbilissi, Georgia. There, he studied at the Academy of Fine Arts before moving to Paris, the fashion capital of the world where he worked with Christian Lacroix, Jean-Louis Scherrer and later, Dior and Yves Saint-Laurent.
In 2002, sponsored by François Lesage and supported by the Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode, Irakli Nasidzé presented his first collection at the Palais Gallieria, in Paris. That opened a chapter of more than 10 years where he created Haute Couture shows in France and abroad before launching his own ready-to-wear label, IRAKLI.
Avid passionate of the arts and teacher, he was selected to be a jury member at Paris prestigious school of Fashion, ESMOD in 2010 and subsequent years and later shared his knowledge and experience with students of the Arts Academy of Hangzhou.
Nowadays, Irakli is the creator behind the eponymous label where noble fabric and modern design strive to bring out the natural beauty and the elegance within.
